"The reality of persistent health disparities and structural inequality has motivated a desire for new strategies to move the needle toward social justice across sectors. Traditionally, health promotion and intervention efforts have tended to be institution based, "expert"-driven, and silo-specific. To change the course toward health equity, stakeholders with different types of knowledge need to work together to solve real-world problems. In this volume, we aim to bridge the gaps to facilitate collaborative research to promote child health. Contributors discuss the specific tools they have used (both successfully and unsuccessfully) to work together and promote meaningful outcomes for child health"--
