It will provide detailed explanations of the new ASCE 7-16 standard (to be released in March of 2017) which deals with designing buildings to withstand loads, including wind, snow, earthquakes, etc. Unique to this book is added coverage of ASCE 24-14, which regulates flood-resistant design of structures.
